Description
  1. Data files include psychophysical measurements of perceived speed of moving surfaces that participants felt with their fingers. Judgements were made following adaptation to motion across the skin under various conditions (speed and texture were varied). Data files also include measures of contact force applied to the surfaces by the participants during the experiment. The data come from two experiments, both of which used a repeated measures design. Further description can be found in the associated publication, and in the readme file. The data files are tab delimited plain text, and are organised in the tidy data format (see http://vita.had.co.nz/papers/tidy-data.pdf) such that each variable forms a column, and each observation forms a row.
