Perception of lexical tones in elderly Thai adults with and without hearing impairment
  • Description

We investigated the effects of age, hearing status and hearing aid use on the auditory-visual, auditory-only, and visual-only discrimination of Thai lexical tones. Research participants were separated into three age and hearing status groups: young adults and elderly adults without hearing impairment, and elderly adults with hearing impairment, with and without hearing aids. The dataset contains two excel files. The first file (HI Paper DISC data) is discrimination data and the second file (HI Paper ID data) is identification data.
